An Antarctic lobby group, backed by significant conservation groups and celebrities, is calling for a substantial marine reserve in the Ross Sea as component of an even greater reserve bordering Antarctica.

The Antarctic Ocean Alliance (AOA) on Tuesday launched its 1st report calling for three.six million square kilometres of completely guarded marine reserve.
