6.three earthquake shakes Peru but no accidents or injury noted - chicagotribune.com

LIMA (Reuters) - A earthquake of six.3 magnitude rattled the coast of Peru early on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey stated, but there were no rapid reviews of harm or injuries.

The quake occurred shortly immediately after midnight local time (one a.m. ET) and was centered about 9 miles southeast of the town of Ica and about 170 miles south-southeast of Lima.








Witnesses said the quake shook buildings in coastal Lima, Peru's richesse. Although there ended up no reported injuries or hurt, local radio mentioned residents in the vicinity of jersey wholesale the nfl wholesale jerseys epicenter were alarmed and ran outdoors their properties when they felt the quake. Energy was out in nearby Pisco, the radio said.

We felt a terrible earthquake that is actually scared us,  Ica resident Blanca Cabanilla instructed the nearby radio.  It was comparable to what took place to us in 2007. 

An eight. quake in 2007 killed far more than five hundred individuals in Ica and wrecked countless numbers of households.
